I’m a backend engineer. I’ve written production software since 2012 and worked in blockchain since 2016: smart contracts, cross-chain systems, indexers, and the transaction-processing services that sit under them.

Most of what I do is the unglamorous part. I take a service from a rough draft to something that stays up, gets monitored, and can be deployed without ceremony. Over the years that has meant EVM indexers over the full historical ENS set, a Seaport-based domain marketplace, developer SDKs used by outside teams, and the deployment and monitoring around a cross-chain solver.

Right now I’m on the Intents team at LI.FI, where I build and operate the LI.FI Solver, the service that fills cross-chain intents.

Background

Backend since 2012, starting in PHP and moving to TypeScript and Go. Blockchain since 2016: ICO contracts early on, then core platform work at Unstoppable Domains. There I owned the smart contracts and wrappers other product teams built on, a custom ENS indexer covering millions of domains, and gas-conscious DNS tokenization. Before that I led developer tooling: SDKs, a cross-platform CLI, and partner integrations with Brave, Alchemy, and Trust Wallet.

Now

I build and operate the LI.FI Solver on the Intents network: transaction processing, inventory rebalancing across chains, monitoring, and execution reliability.

Off hours

The building habit doesn’t switch off at home. I run a home server with Home Assistant automations on it, and a bot that orders my groceries (Playwright behind a Telegram approval step, because I don’t fully trust it with my money yet). Away from screens I play guitar and piano, both worse than I’d like. There’s camping in summer, and a Kindle loaded with philosophy and Russian classics - Tolstoy, Dostoevsky, Camus, some Epictetus.
